Let’s figure out where you should go next.

I’m Ken. I plan and book trips, from finding the right hotel to sorting out the logistics that make the whole thing work.

Not sure yet? Try “somewhere warm in February.”

Ken McGrady, travel advisor

Hi, I’m Ken

I’m a travel advisor. I mostly plan trips for couples, families, and small groups.

I care a lot about where you stay. Not just which hotel, but which room, and whether the one facing the garden is worth the extra $80 a night. Sometimes it is. Often it isn’t, and I’ll say so.

Food, nature, and local culture are usually where I spend the most time researching. I also pay attention to the boring parts, like how long it really takes to get between places or whether a connection looks too tight on paper.

I can help figure out the trip, book it, and stay involved when plans change.

Tell Me About Your Trip

What Planning With Me Looks Like

Start with whatever you know. I’ll help with the rest.

  1. Tell me about your trip

A destination, rough dates, or even just the kind of trip you want is enough.

  2. We figure out what fits

We’ll talk through what matters to you, what feels realistic, and where you want my help.

  3. I plan and book it

I research the options, put the trip together, handle the reservations, and stay involved if plans change.

Trips I Especially Like Planning

A few kinds of trips I naturally get nerdy about.

A couple on a candlelit terrace overlooking a city at dusk

Great Hotels & Resorts

Sometimes the hotel is the reason for the trip. I love figuring out which property, room, and rate make the most sense for what you’re doing.

Celebrations & Getaways

Anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons, family trips, or just a few days away together. If there’s a reason behind the trip, I like making sure it feels like it.

Food, Nature & Culture

This is the part I’m nerdiest about. I love researching where to eat and what to do, especially when there’s good food, scenery, or a place with a strong sense of itself.
